Self-monitoring strategy reduces postpartum hypertension and cardiac remodelling

In women with elevated levels of blood pressure (BP) during pregnancy, the use of a physician-guided remote telemonitoring programme during the postpartum period improves BP control and ameliorates cardiac dysfunction and structural remodelling. These findings, from the POP-HT trial and substudy, were presented at AHA.23.
