UNS — A total of 19,075 participants took part in the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) for the competency selection of Civil Servants with Employment Agreements (PPPK) for the 2023 formation, held at the G.P.H. Haryo Mataram Auditorium of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. In organizing the CAT test, UNS collaborated with 10 Provincial/District/City Governments in Central Java.
The CAT competency selection test for PPPK admissions began on Sunday (11/12/2023) and will continue until Tuesday (11/28/2023). On the first day of the CAT competency selection test for PPPK admissions, an opening ceremony took place with speeches from the Acting Director of the Directorate of Cooperation, Development, and Internationalization at UNS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohamad Harisudin, M.Si., and the Acting Head of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), Drs. Haryomo Dwi Putranto, M.Hum.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohamad Harisudin, M.Si., the Acting Director of the Directorate of Cooperation, Development, and Internationalization at UNS, expressed gratitude to BKN for entrusting UNS as the first location for the implementation of the CAT competency selection test for PPPK admissions in 2023. “This is not the first time; UNS has been chosen several times by BKN as the venue for both CPNS and PPPK tests,” Prof. Harisudin explained.
In the implementation of the CAT competency selection test for PPPK admissions in 2023, UNS prepared 440 computers to facilitate participants. “Each day is divided into three sessions, except on the first day of the test (Sunday, 11/12/2023), and on Friday, which has only two sessions per day,” he added.
In each test session, there were 400 participants, for a total of 19,075 participants. The participants are from various regions, including 1,395 from Pati Regency, 1,792 from the Central Java Provincial Government, 4,604 from Grobogan Regency, 1,453 from Rembang Regency, 1,443 from Semarang Regency, 1,709 from Kudus Regency, 1,798 from Surakarta City, 1,138 from Karanganyar Regency, 3,403 from Blora Regency, and 340 from Klaten Regency.
Meanwhile, Drs. Haryomo Dwi Putranto, M.Hum., the Acting Head of BKN, expressed gratitude to UNS for helping BKN prepare the test location for the CAT competency selection for PPPK admissions in 2023. “UNS has been very helpful to BKN. Nationally, there are 340 locations for CAT implementation, both for CPNS and PPPK. UNS has been chosen multiple times because the CAT implementation at UNS is excellent. UNS prepares everything maximally, and we are delighted to collaborate with UNS,” Haryomo said.
Haryomo hoped that the implementation of the CAT competency selection test for PPPK admissions in 2023 at UNS would run smoothly. “I also hope that the collaboration between UNS and BKN will continue in the following years,” he added.
After the opening ceremony attended by the Acting Head of BKN, Drs. Haryomo Dwi Putranto, M.Hum., and representatives from the 10 Provincial/District/City Governments in Central Java, the event continued by inspecting the venue of the CAT competency selection for PPPK admissions. HUMAS UNS
