UNS — The Student Cooperative (Kopma) Team of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won 1st place in the Smart Quiz Competition (LCC, or Lomba Cerdas Cermat) Kopma Competition for Central Java, organized by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) on Sunday (12/11/2023). The Kopma team comprised Wahyu Trianingsih, a student from the Bachelor’s Program in Management, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Abel Rizky Agustian, and Sekar Ayuningtyas, students from the Accounting Bachelor’s Program, FEB.

The competition is an annual event hosted by Kopma UMS. It involves participation from various Kopma organizations and the public across Central Java. The UNS Kopma team successfully navigated through the online preliminary rounds, the offline semifinals featuring the top 5, and the final stage with the top 3 held at UMS.

Wahyu Trianingsih, the team captain, mentioned that Kopma UNS sent two delegations, but only one team made it to the finals. The team’s preparation involved studying cooperative principles and general knowledge.

“In the preliminary and semifinal rounds, we were given questions to answer. During the final top 3 LCC round, a debate was held to determine the positions of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Alhamdulillah, the UNS Kopma team successfully wins 1st place,” Wahyu Trianingsih expressed.

Wahyu Trianingsih also expressed hope that in the future, both her team and Kopma UNS would progress further and actively participate in various competitions. She believed that continuous effort, even in the face of occasional setbacks, would never betray the results.  HUMAS UNS
