EDI strategies have been developed to address on-going structural injustices and are in governments’ policy documents. However, those who occupy implementing positions are still to develop appropriate skills in using these strategies, so that everyone is treated fairly in all healthcare institutions. For example, non-native English speakers, despite their fluency in different languages, are still hugely disadvantaged in their career progression in most healthcare system in English speaking
