Charles A. Kunos is a Professor in Radiation Medicine and Medical Director of the Clinical Research Office at the University of Kentucky National Cancer Institute-designated Markey Cancer Center. He actively participates in investigational therapeutic radiopharmaceutical discovery, clinical trial implementation, administration, and monitoring, as well as public stewardship of radiopharmaceutical clinical trial resources. He received a National Cancer Institute Director’s Award in 2022 for his extramural role in the investigational therapeutic radiopharmaceutical initiative at the National Institutes of Health.
