Arezoo Ghavi, PhD, is an assistant professor in pediatric nursing at Ferdows Branch, Islamic Azad University, Iran. She has been a faculty member at Islamic Azad University since 2014. Dr Ghavi completed her PhD in nursing education in 2022, MSN in medical-surgical nursing in 2011, and BSN in 2007. Her research interests/areas of expertise are in resuscitation and critical care, qualitative studies, and mixed-methods studies.
Hadi Hassankhani, PhD, is a nursing professor in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He has been a faculty member at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences since 2009. He completed his PhD in nursing education in 2008, MSN in medical-surgical nursing in 2005, and BSN in 2002. His research interests/areas of expertise are in resuscitation and critical care, qualitative studies, and mixed-methods studies.
Kelly Powers, PhD, RN, CNE, is an associate professor in the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has been a faculty member at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since 2008. She finished her PhD in nursing at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2014, MSN in nursing education at William Paterson University in 2007, and BSN at Villanova University in 1999. Her research interests/areas of expertise are in the interventions to improve provision of safe and high-quality health care, including connecting inpatient and community-based care; interventions to improve practice of patient- and family-centered care; and educational innovations for nursing and other health profession students (simulation and interprofessional education).
