Erlend Holthe, MSc, is a PhD student at Department of Public Health and Nursing at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has 14 years of experience of ICU nursing within internal medicine intensive care and neuro intensive care. His academic career began in 2021 focusing on clinical research along with teaching ICU nursing.

Vigdis S. Husby, PhD, is associate professor at Department of Health Sciences Ålesund NTNU and research nurse at the Department of Orthopaedic surgery, St. Olavs hospital Trondheim, Norway. Research areas are rehabilitation after hip-and knee surgery, using both qualitative and quantitative research methods and research within the field of operating room nursing.
