As a lexicographer of Albert Einstein,1–3 I have a specific comment on the feature by Rajasekharan Nair K, entitled ‘Albert Einstein and Jacob Chandy’.4

Apart from meeting with the poet Rabindranath Tagore in Berlin, Einstein also received correspondence from Satyendra Nath Bose (1894–1974).5 Their link is eponymised in physics with the terms, Bose–Einstein condensation, Bose–Einstein particles (Bosons) and Bose–Einstein statistics.
