A literature search was done on PubMed using the keywords “Woodhouse-Sakati syndrome”, “Parkinsonism and endocrinological features”, “Parkinsonism and alopecia”, “DCAF17” and “C2orf37”, searching for the epidemiology, genetic, pathophysiology, clinical features, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment of WSS.
