Remember me
While other neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's Disease have an identified prodrome period, only recently have population cohort studies suggested possible evidence for multiple sclerosis (MS) prodrome for both relapse-remitting and primary progressive types. (Makhani and Tremlett, 2021; Tremlett et al., 2021; JMA Wijnands et al., 2019; JM Wijnands et al., 2019) Mild cognitive symptoms, dermatological complaints, and anemia have been identified as possible prodromal presentations. (JMA Wijnands et al., 2019; JM Wijnands et al., 2019) This study aimed to characterize non-routine healthcare utilization before MS diagnosis in a diverse population.
